Juniper was dumped at a shelter in the south with her 8 tiny puppies. From the very beginning the shelter thought she was a special girl. She was an amazing and attentive mother and was also very tolerant of anyone coming to meet and pick up her puppies. After her puppies were 8 weeks old, the shelter put them up for adoption. One by one they each left Juniper. Everyone wanted her puppies but they passed sweet Juniper by.
The shelter sent out a message to all the rescues they work with and this is what they said of Juniper:
"Hi! my name is Juniper. The kennel staff says that I am one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet...they call me an angel! I love all people and all dogs and will make a wonderful addition to anyone's family!"
When no rescues responded, they sent HART an email and asked that we look at her as "she is a top notch girl, great personality and just a solid family dog!" We could not say no to that.
Juniper was in a foster home in S.C. for several weeks until we could arrange for transport. Her foster mom said she is simply the best dog and she cried when she had to put her on transport. If you want to meet this little gem of a dog please let us know. She will be so happy to meet you!
