Acadia - Adopted on 5/25/2013

Acadia (Katy) is an amazing dog that loves children more than anything. She's new to us and was, understandably, a little shy at her first adoption event, but absolutely came to life when she spotted a child coming up to her. Kissing her face, rolling on her back, and just relishing being loved by that youngster, Acadia became one of the star attractions. Sadly, we had to leave the event to go to another, but Acadia will be available at HART's Greenbriar adoption event, but, I guarantee, not for long before some lucky family sees how much better their life will be with Acadia. Her foster has great words for her: Acadia likes to drag shoes out in the play yard. She doesn't chew them up. She loves all the dogs and people.
