Moe is a wonderful young man! He came from a rural Virginia shelter with Larry, who may or may not be his brother. He is about 11-12 months old, weighs 34 pounds, is gorgeous, sweet, playful, friendly, quiet, well behaved, silly and just all around awesome! Moe is housebroken, crate trained, walks nicely on a leash and is working on basic commands. His foster family's 3 dogs are all black and white, so not only does he match perfectly, his temperament fits in with other dogs perfectly. He also does well with children. He is playful, likes to fetch, and is a medium energy level. He is a young man, so will need a family that is home a fair amount to provide training, activity, and exercise. We are not sure of his breed heritage, but we are guessing pointer mix, with maybe some lab, and something smaller. He has a lab-like personalitygoofy, loving, friendly, and he likes balls and soft things to carry around. He doesn't seem to have much experience with suburban life (stairs, garage doors, etc.) but learns and adapts easily. So far, besides socks, which he can't resist, he hasn't put anything in his mouth that wasn't a dog toy. If you watch the slide show, you can tell his foster family is biased, but we think he is WONDERFUL! Please come meet him!
