Archie the Brave - Adopted on 8/3/2017

Age:  About 13 years

Gender:  Male

Breed:  DSH

Archie was found, abandoned, behind a restaurant. The assumption is that someone turned him out in the hopes that he would be able to fend for himself. Archie was not meant to be in the "wild", and suffered some emotional, and physical trauma as a result.

We can't figure out why anybody would let go of Arche. He loves to be petted, loves to give love and talks to you. He is kind of like a dog/cat. He follows his humans wherever they go. He's gotten more comfortable with the dogs in his foster home, but likely because he had to fend for himself, he's still very defensive around other cats. He would probably prefer a home with children 10+. He lives with a rambunctious 3 year old now, but sudden noises and movements still make him pretty nervous.

Archie has a sad backstory, but he doesn't want to be defined by his past! He would love to celebrate a new future with a family. Is your family the one to be Archie's forever home?
