Sandy is a very gentle, but timid girl from Puerto Rico. Imagine losing your home to a hurricane and being flown to another country, a cold place even! At the adoption events, she is interested in every person, big or small. She loves to get treats but is still a little shy about being petted. She is house trained and well behaved in the house. She is great with other dogs. There are still many new sights and sounds that startle her but she is easily coaxed to be brave and keep going. She would probably do best in a female only household with another dog.
