In the words of our kennel manager "You cannot find a nicer, sweeter, quieter, easier and cleaner dogs anywhere!" Sadly, Demi and Apollo's owner passed away and they became immediately homeless. They lived with 2 other dogs, and a family member took the purebred dogs. But Demi and Apollo ended up at an overly crowed shelter, and their world was turned upside down. They are such sweet and gentle dogs that the shelter staff kept them safe for 2 months in the hopes of getting them adopted or into rescue. The fact that this overburdened shelter held onto these dogs for that length of time is a testament Demi and Apollo's wonderful dispositions. After all they went through we did not want their lives to come to a tragic end at the shelter. We would love to try to get them adopted together. The shelter believed them to be brother and sister. Demi is a sweet girl. She loves being petted and will follow you around. Apollo is also a very sweet and friendly dog. He was a little bit timid at the shelter and he seemed worried - likely he was stressed wondering what had happened to his person. Apollo also likes to sit next to you and soaks up affection. Both dogs are house-trained and in the words of our kennel manager: "clean as a penny!" They both did well when tested with other dogs. Demi and Apollo have lovely dispositions and have a lot of love to give. Please consider - foster or adoption and help us give them the wonderful homes they deserve.
