Calling all lab lovers! Oakley is a complete love! If you don't want a dog that likes to cuddle on or near your lap this boy is probably not for you. He arrived at the shelter at 35 pounds - weak and emaciated. He still needs to gain about 8 pounds to be a good weight. Notwithstanding all he clearly went through he could not be sweeter. We pulled him from the shelter on the day he was scheduled to be euthanized. It is hard to imagine that like so many other dogs, Oakley was about to be another awful statistic of what is happening to so many highly adoptable dogs who have the misfortune of ending up in high kill shelters. He loves walks, treats, and being loved on. Oakley knows how to sit and will offer his paw to anyone that comes up to him. He also will give hugs upon request! Oakley would do fabulous in a home with another dog too but he would also do well in a home without another dog. This boy thrives on being loved and giving love!
