Harrison - Adopted on 5/10/2020

Age:  About 3 years
Gender:  Male
Breed:  Terrier Mix

Sweet Harrison has made huge strides since first coming to HART as a frightened timid little guy. He has settled in to his foster home and begun to show his his true self - a happy playful boy who loves to explore and run (more like bunny hop) around his backyard.

While Harrison gets the zoomies and engages in puppy-like play, he settles quickly and is content to take long snoozes alongside his foster fur sibs or in his foster parents' laps. He eagerly seeks attention from the household's older children and delights in sleeping at the end of a comfy human bed.

Harrison plays well and has bonded with the resident dogs in his foster home, but he has shown a dislike for any other dogs he has been introduced to. Harrison would be happy as an only dog or in a household with dog owners who understand that it will take a few days for him to adjust to other dogs.

He is quite curious about the resident cats and will give chase if given a chance but has learned to leave the BIG orange tabby guy alone. He is house trained and crate trained.

Harrison walks great on a leash. He has learned how wonderful the outdoors is beyond the backyard. He is eager to walk as often and as far as his humans desire.
