Maximo - Adopted on 10/4/2022

Maximo in one very cute, happy, fun little dog! His tail is constantly wagging and everything is so exciting! He loves being with his people, cuddling or exploring. He explores on his own too, sniffing and romping around. Like the hound he is, his nose is almost constantly on the ground. He's very quiet, rarely barking, and then only a little woof to remind you he's there. He's house-trained and crate trained, and goes in the crate easily. It helps that he's very food motivated. He's very good at meeting new people and dogs, and likes to play. He's working on leash manners and learning commands. He "knows" sit, wait, stay and come, but gosh, everything is just so exciting, how is a little dog supposed to sit still and wait when there are so many things to explore and do?? A real sweetie who would make a good single dog (with opportunities for socialization and play) or with other dogs, with one owner or a family.
