Bettina - Adopted on 1/21/2018

Age:  5 years

Gender:  Female

Breed:  Beagle

Bettina has some scars on her face, and is missing part of an ear, suggesting that she's had some very painful encounters. But this middle-aged gal doesn't carry any grudges and shows love to everyone she meets. She's been in her foster home a few days and made herself at home quickly. She loves to go outside, but also loves to come in and snuggle up in a dog bed or on the couch. Bettina is very timid around the two cats in her foster home, and gets along well with the dogs. At night she sleeps quietly in a crate. She is very affectionate but can be timid and submissive. She has only barked a few times when outside. Like many rescued dogs, Bettina needs to improve her leash walking skills. But with her moderate energy level, walks aren't too challenging. A little practice is all she needs. She also needs a forever home that would love to add a sweet, gentle little lady.
