Loosa - Adopted on 10/20/2018

Age:  7 years

Gender:  Female

Breed:  Bulldog/Beagle Mix

Loosa is a friendly girl with an interesting look. She's got some beagle, bulldog, and shepherd features to her. She loves going on adventures and romping around - stalking squirrels and chipmunks is one of her favorite past times. She also loves to play with her squeaky toys and chew toys. She readily gives her toys up when approached and really likes playing fetch with her squeaky toys. Loosa adores being around people and being pet is one of her favorite things. She'll also snuggle into your lap if you pick her up. She hasn't met anyone she doesn't like and shows patience with children. She picks up commands fairly quickly too. She loves to please and REALLY loves treats. Loosa would do well in a home with room to roam, rules and structure, and people who are ready to give her the attention she craves. She loves nothing more than to be with her people. Loosa came from rural VA and just finished her heartworm treatment! She has a clean bill of health now, and will need a retest early November just to make sure. Loosa is crate trained and is working on her house training. She's about 75%-85% there. She is working on pulling when she walks on a leash. She's not quite there yet and is still working hard! Loosa is also learning to control herself when she gets excited and starts barking a lot. A citronella bark collar has been helping her get over that habit. Are you the one to help Loosa finish learning her manners and give her that lap she longs to lie in?
