Buster was rescued from an older couple who did not have the capacity to take care of Buster and his many canine siblings. HART received a plea for assistance and, as a result, Buster is now a proud member of the HART family.
During Buster's formative months, he has lived with many dogs and has been around older children. That said, his formative months have also demonstrated that he does not care for cats. His previous family reports that he is very affectionate and likes to cuddle. That said, as expected with this transition, Buster is a bit scared yet, as evidenced by the photos, Buster is receptive to being held which seems to have a calming effect.
In sum, Buster simply needs time to adjust and we are hopeful that Buster can spend this period of adjustment in a foster home, rather than the kennel, thereby providing Buster the love and stability he so richly deserves.
