Here is what Autumn's very experienced foster mom told us about Autumn: Autumn is affectionate, and she loves to sit and snuggle with you on the couch while you watch TV. Her favorite show is any animal video on YouTube, and she likes to talk to the TV. Her hobbies include doing zoomies in the evening and playing with toys throughout the day. She is house trained. She is learning to walk on a leash, taking a 30 minute walk daily. She does not mind walking in light rain, or in cold weather but loud noises can spook her. She and her sisters were very scared when they came to HART and she has made great progress but she is still very shy meeting new people and dogs but once she knows you, or another dog, she is your friend for life. Autumn is fully housetrained. She sleeps in a crate. She has learned obedience commands of sit, stay, and down. When leaving the house I put her in her pen or crate with a water bowl, dog toys, a bed and I leave a radio or tv on (low volume) for her for 1 - 4 hours and she does great. She gets along well with dogs who are at least the same size as her. Autumn is a 34 -pound, shy, non-aggressive, medium energy young dog. I do walk her on a leash in my yard, but she loves to run and play with a ball or keep away or tug of war. She would love to have a secure fenced backyard and another confident dog in the house who will play with her. All she needs from you is a little patience, love and lots of toys.
