We adopted GUS when he was one year old, having been found by one of the HART volunteers tied up at a Seven-Eleven.
Over the years he became the dog he wanted to be - energetic, fun and loving, As we began fostering dogs, Gus decided it was time for him to have brothers. He chose the two spaniels we have now. He loved them; played with them, cleaned their eyes and ears every day. They became a close-knit pack and good companions to each other.
Gus passed away suddenly August 6, 2011. We can never thank him enough for the joy he gave us over the years, especially his howling at the fire trucks. We can never thank enough Josh and Michelle who found him and helped him find his way to us.
