Rico is a very sweet and extremely attentive boy looking for a family and a home to call his own. He is a velcro dog who is happiest when he is by your side and accompanying you on life's adventures and activities. He will be the best walking companion, the best gardening companion, the best hang out and watch a video companion anyone could ask for. Rico is very food motivated so he will be fun to train. He loves people but given his fondness for food and ability to help himself to whatever cheerios or other snack a toddler or small child might be carrying around, we are recommending him for families with kids a little older and taller. :-)
Rico is very good on a leash and would enjoy accompanying you on walks around the neighborhood or in the parks. He is housetrained and does well in the crate once he gets settled. He would be happy as an only pet (where he could get all the attention!) but also does fine with some other dogs. Rico traveled all the way from New Mexico to find his forever family, and will be a fantastic companion for the lucky person or family who adopts him. Please come and meet this handsome boy.
