Madison was adopted as a puppy from a rural shelter 3 years ago and was returned to that shelter on 2/4/17. Her owner stated that he had lost his job and didn't know when he would have a place of his own again and had to give her up. She lived with her daddy and had him all to herself since she was a puppy.
Madison was terrified in the shelter at first. She sat in a corner hoping it was all a bad dream. When the staff walked her for potty breaks they noticed that the further she got away from the shelter the more she relaxed. They then started letting her hang out in the break room while they ate lunch and she is a different dog. When we heard her heartbreaking story HART stepped up to rescue her. Madison is a gentle girl and very loving and she has a fair amount of energy. If you are interested in meeting Madison please let us know!
