I'm a survivor. I, along with over 50 other dogs, lived with a hoarder in a small trailer. Food and space were scarce, as evidenced by the tiny scars on my face. Despite this trauma, I am not food aggressive and enjoy the company of other dogs. Understandably, I am a bit timid with new people but warm up quickly. In fact, I follow my foster mom and dad around the house and seek their attention. They are happy to oblige with warm, gentle pets and treats. Patience (and cheese snacks) are key. In addition to being lovable and adorable, I am also quiet. I simply do not bark! Instead, when happy and excited, I let out a cute, little squeak. Otherwise, I usually can be found lying on my dog bed and sleep soundly through the night. At the risk of being immodest, I must say that I am quite endearing. I am optimistic that a loving family will value my endearing qualities and provide me with unconditional love and stability. Are you that person or family? Hopefully, so.
