Half Pint (Hapi for short) is a gentle, loving little fellow who will be an absolute joy in the right home. He knows to do his business outside, is not yappy, and has shown no destructive tendencies in his foster home. He is one of the most endearing dogs you will ever meet, but easily startled. Although fearless and friendly with dogs of all sizes, he shies away if a human runs up to him, bends down over him, or flails about in front of him (this is not a dog for a home with rough or hyperactive kids). He will eagerly come to anyone who kneels to pet him or pick him up. He loves to be held and is in absolute bliss curled up next to anyone reading or watching TV. He craves companionship and will follow a person from room to room. His playful side has begun to emerge in his foster home - he loves to play fetch with a rubber ball and has chosen a big hound as a play buddy. He would love a peaceful forever home where someone with a gentle manner and a calm voice will share in the boundless love and affection he has to give.
