Abby came to HART as an emergency case. She has a puncture wound and lesions on her leg, She is fully mobile and does not favor the leg when she walks or gets in and out of a car, but to me the puncture looked awful. Abby is a sweetheart who loves being petted once you move in on her. She will not impose herself on the humans around her (maybe she doesn't trust them). She was unaffected by the puppies in the crates next to her on the trip and just lay quietly on her bed in the car. If you spend a little time with her, your heart will just ache and once she is comfortable with you she can't get enough loving. BTW she also loves treats. Abby could really use a foster while her leg heals, but I warn you fosters, she will be hard to part with when she is adopted.
