Ruth is an incredibly sweet girl with so much love to give. She came to HART from South Carolina and her temporary SC foster said, "Ruth is the sweetest, most well-behaved dog I have ever met. She is a total angel. She is a happy and sweet dog who is so appreciative just to be spending time with you. Ruth stole my heart, and I know she will steal yours too."
Ruth is very friendly with new people and will wag her tail and just look at you until you come to say hi to her. She sits politely when you pet her and does not jump up on people. Her SC foster said, "I have gotten so many compliments about how well-behaved and sweet she is." She can be a little shy with men at first, but she warms right up.
Ruth loves snuggling and playing fetch. She will snuggle for hours if you let her! She loves chasing tennis balls and will bring them back to you. She is very polite on the leash. Ruth is house trained and crate trained.
