Chubbs is an awesome dog waiting to happen. He is just a little frightened of this world (who isn't?) and would benefit from someone with the patience to help him understand that while the world may be scary, it's a pretty okay place. He has these soulful eyes that just look to you for direction and of course they melt your heart at the same time. Chubbs will show you unconditional love and devotion forever. Chubbs recently went to a new foster home & they immediately put him on a diet. He's quite handsome now & with his new figure came his nickname Jack. Chubbs/Jack is still very shy but after being in foster for a month is getting more confident & has started playing with some of the other dogs or even by himself. He prefers soft squeaky toys. He enjoys adoption days but they are very stressful for him. He will frequently go up to strangers he likes and just lean on their leg. Jack is low energy, house trained, crate trained and loves his people. He sleeps with his foster mom and snuggles right up next to her. He goes outside to do his business but will want in immediately after. His security is with his people. He also enjoys his crate. His foster family leaves the crate door open & he is frequently in there taking a nap. Chubbs/Jack gets irritated with young children but is not aggressive. A home with older children would probably be best. He ignores the cats in the foster family's house. Don't miss your chance to meet this sweet boy- he'll make a wonderful companion.
