Skye has had a rough start to life but she is very loving and is ready to give her whole heart to her new family. She was discovered in a house during a drug raid. She had been so neglected and abused that a judge removed her immediately from the house and sent her to the local shelter. The shelter staff said of Sky that while "this little girl has been abused, she is such a kind and forgiving soul....she's just looking for someone to love!" Despite her past, Skye is a happy and friendly girl.
Skye is full of energy and loves to run and play. She needs an active family to give her plenty of exercise. Skye is also very smart and learns quickly - it helps that she is food motivated! She needs training as she is still very young and it will also help keep her mind active. She gets along well and plays well with some of her doggie friends, but she is reactive to dogs she doesn't know. She would do best as the only dog in the home so she doesn't have to share. Skye also loves toys, walks, and just being outdoors. She is house trained.
