We are still learning about this gentle giant, but so far he is just as sweet as they come. Very gentle. However, he does better with the ladies than the males and would most likely prefer to be an only pet. We would prefer to place him in a home with a large backyard out in a country setting (as he likes to bark), no apartments/condos/townhomes please. Additionally, he would probably do best with someone who has experience with farm type dogs and a pretty simple life style.
