Poor Felicia has been let down by humans too many times but her gentle spirit has remained through it all. Do you have space on your couch and room in your heart? If you are looking for a dog who needs you (even if she doesn't know it yet) this is it. She has spent the vast majority of her life under socialized so she remains nervous and timid. She needs someone that will provide her with unconditional love, believe in her and never give up on her. She needs a loving person that will actively work to continue socializing her and catch her up on all the years of love she has missed out on.
Felicia is low energy and low maintenance. While Felicia doesn't seek out attention or affection from people she will happily snooze the day away with you on the couch and does not object to being petted or snuggled up next to. She keeps a very watchful eye on everything foster mom does and always follows her up to bed every night. She enjoys car rides and leisurely walks in a quiet setting. She has even accompanied foster mom into several stores and while a little nervous she did amazing!
She is crate trained and doesn't bark. She responds quickly when foster mom calls her for dinner, potty breaks, or to go up to bed. She lives well with dogs and cats. She prefers calmer or older dogs that won't jump all over her but has also grown accustomed to the overly friendly energetic dog currently in her foster home.
