Mr. Fozzie is also known as Fozzie Bear since he's a complete love bug with beautiful soulful eyes! Fozzie is a low key pup who loves to be with his humans and wants nothing more than to be cuddled and loved on. He would love a relaxed home to match his energy. He gets along with the other dogs in his foster home, but we think he would also do fine in a home without other dogs. In addition to snuggling, Fozzie likes playing with other dogs and going on walks. In the neighborhood, he's known as a real ladies' man!
This little man has been through a lot, he came to HART with a mangled leg that needed to be amputated. However, in a very short period, he's made a remarkable recovery. He gets around well but will not be a good fit for someone who wants an active dog to take on long walks and hikes. An apartment building where he is required to take stairs several times a day would also not be suitable.
Fozzie is a great house guest and has stayed out of mischief in his foster home. He is house trained, rarely barks, and is great on a leash. He doesn't like being crated but has done great with free roam. He has not done any food or resource guarding.
Fozzie is a total sweetheart who wants nothing more than to be loved!
