Plume came to HART with his best friend named Precious. The two senior dogs lived their whole lives together in the same home, happy and content to spend the rest of their days there. Unfortunately, when their owners had to move, they decided they would not bring their beloved dogs with them, so they surrendered Precious and Plume to a local shelter. HART was eager to help Plume and Precious live the new life they deserved, and the dogs thrived together in a loving HART foster home. Sadly, Precious became ill, and despite the vet's most amazing efforts and care, we lost Precious to what seemed to be a massive stroke. Despite another heartbreaking event in life, Plume is doing well. He will certainly be a great companion for a lucky person, and after all he's been through, a forever home means even more. Plume is sweet as pie and spry for his age. He loves going on walks and romping around the yard. He even tolerates being dressed up, and quite honestly, he loves to model. It's reported he also does well around young children and is housebroken. The senior years should be the best years, the golden years. Plume wants nothing but love and affection.
