Violet C - Adopted on 7/17/2021

Violet came to the shelter alone, but it was obvious that she had had puppies recently, but they were no where to be found. She was so depressed at the shelter, likely because of the loss of her puppies. The minute we got Violet off the transport from the South, she greeted her new foster family and their dog at their first meeting with joyful kisses and tail wags. She loves to have a human to cuddle with and she considers herself a lap dog. But Violet also loves to run around the fenced in yard of the fosters home and loves to play fetch. Ideally we would love her to go to a home with a fenced yard but also someone who likes to take walks with their dogs. Another playful dog in the home would be great too but we don't think that is required at this time. Her foster mom describes her this way which says it all: She is Happy, playful, loves to cuddle, loves to be near people and follow you around. She is also housetrained.
