Spot is a sweet dog who is very shy and takes some time to settle in and feel safe with new people and in new places. Once he feels safe, he is very loving and affectionate! He loves belly rubs, getting any attention for his foster mom, and has started playing with toys.
Spot is generally calm but he gets very excited at times, like when his foster mom gets home. He feels safe in his crate and sleeps there at night. His foster mom has yet to hear him bark. He does fine with both the smaller and bigger dogs in his foster home. We are looking for a quiet home for him with a secure fenced yard.
Spot was living outside on a chain connected to a doghouse before coming to HART, and loves the comforts of being inside of a home now!
