Badger's foster mom: "We started fostering Badger and absolutely adore him! He has nice house manners (doesn't chew anything that isn't his, doesn't counter surf and is housebroken!). It appears as if he hasn't been well socialized as a puppy. Probably grew up just at his house and didn't go places. So new places take some getting used to. The car is also not his favorite place yet but he gets through it. So that means we take him to many new places and on short fun car rides. He absolutely loves going for walks. If it's in an area he already knows then he walks like a dream. If it's in a new area then he is a little darty. Badger likes most other dogs unless they are the in your face kind but even then he remains a gentleman. He's not a big fan of young children. They move too fast for him and he just needs a nice calm household. He's is in no way aggressive just uncomfortable. He's ok being left home alone but he does bark. Preferably a home where he's not left alone too much. When we have guests coming to our house he does need a proper introduction but warms up quickly. At night he sleeps in a crate next to our bed. He is quiet as a mouse (other than the occasional soft snore) and sleeps through the night. Although he does wonderful in the crate he would love nothing more than to sleep in your bed and keep you warm. He's probably a medium energy dog. We are still getting to know him but feel free to email us if you have any questions. For sure he's stolen our hearts already."
