Oakley - Adopted on 3/23/2020

Age:  3 years
Gender:  Male
Breed:  Border Collie/Australian Shepherd Mix

Oakley has been doing wonderful as our foster dog. He listens extremely well. Knows his commands (sit, down, bed, stay). He also does very well in the crate, is housebroken & doesn't chew anything that isn't his, does extremely awesome in the car and so on.

My nieces (7 & 10 year old) came over to the house for a week and he did wonderful with them.

He's also done very well with other foster dogs in the house. Outside Oakley does very well but this is where he will need the most guidance/help. He has been leash reactive with dogs and people in the past. We've done many introductions with other dogs and people and it has gone wonderful. He plays nicely and polite. His problem is the initial introduction which has to do with excitement. If you think you're the right person/home for Oakley please come meet him. He's sure to make you laugh on a daily basis and melt your heart.
