Sammysam is a darling, large goofball from a rural part of Virginia. He is house trained, crate trained, and knows how to sit. He likes people of all ages (although he is a tad skittish at first of men), and likes other dogs. He is still a bit puppy like in his play and a bit pushy but backs off if the other dog lets him know they have had enough. Sammy has those big goofy basset paws and bounces on his toys like a cat. He is a sweet, comical , medium energy dog that is a bit rascally. He has mellowed quite a bit since coming to us and is doing very well in foster where he is quite the couch potato when not playing with the resident dogs or sniffy the back yard.
