Homer is a sweet little boy who loves to cuddle and be held. When he came into the shelter that HART pulled him from, he had been attacked by another dog and his injured eye had to be removed. He is blind in his remaining eye now, but he doesn't let that affect his spirits - he is a happy, friendly little guy. Homer just came to HART from South Carolina and will be going to an ophthalmologist to see if there is anything that can be done to help him see.

He has adjusted well to his new foster home and learned how to get around. He is a smart little guy and goes slowly so he doesn't crash into anything. He is great at climbing on and off the couch to snuggle. He gets along with the other dogs in his foster home. He also loves toys, especially any that squeak! He is house trained.

Homer would do best in a calm and quiet home as he is easily startled. He just wants to cuddle and play!
