Jack is a 31-lb shepherd mix and a gentle sweetheart. He is initially shy with humans but has nothing but love and devotion once he trusts someone. Jack also loves to be around other dogs, often curling up and resting his head on a fellow canine.
Jack is about 10 months old but very laid back and quiet for a dog that age. And he has great manners! He knows to do his business outside, he limits his chewing to toys, is crate trained, and has yet to growl or show any aggressive tendencies whatsoever in his foster home. He has playful moments but is never hyperactive.
He will need patience and reassurance in a new home. It took him a full week to feel comfy in his foster home. Once acclimated, he is still easily startled and can get unnerved by shouting and commotion. He is much more relaxed and at ease when other dogs are around, and would do best in a home with at least one other friendly dog. He's fine with kind and gentle kids.
