Ruby

Ruby is looking for a cat-savvy person for best friendship. This stunningly beautiful cat with the silkiest fur is looking for her forever person, that special someone who understands that sometimes she is going to want to sit in your arms and lick your face and other times she wants to sit slightly out of your reach for some no-touch together time.

Ruby has blossomed into a friendly and affectionate cat in her foster home and would do best with an adopter who is also willing to work with Ruby to help her feel safe. Ruby may require extra time to feel comfortable in a new place and environmental and medical support to help her manage her fear and anxiety.

Ruby is a friendly and affectionate cat, but since Ruby can swat when she feels threatened or afraid, she would do best in a home without children or with older children who have a basic understanding of cat body language. Ruby also needs a home where she can be the only cat, but she is enjoying the cat-friendly dog in her foster home.

Ruby found her previous best friend through HART when she was a kitten, and now that she is back with us, we know we can help her find her forever pal and confidant.
