Rio is a handsome easy going gentleman who finds himself unexpectedly homeless in what should be his golden years, due to several deaths in his family. He is a sweet boy who asks for very little: a quiet home, a comfy spot on the couch, a stroll around the neighborhood, someone to snuggle with.
Rio is housetrained and knows some obedience commands. He has lived most of his life primarily with women, and so is more comfortable with them, but will warm up to men if introduced gently. Rio has lived peaceably for many years with another dog (Bella, who is also available, but they do not need to be adopted together) and probably would be fine with another quiet, laid back dog.
