Ashia has nothing but love and joy for all people and other friendly dogs. She's a gentle soul who will steal your heart and provide years and years of devotion. Ashia was rescued from a shelter with a high kill rate and is recovering steadily from surgery to a hind leg after possibly being hit by a car. She has good mobility that is getting even better, and is expected to make a full recovery.
Ashia has shown no destructive or aggressive tendencies in her foster home, no resource guarding, and she knows to do her business outside. There's been no shedding and she rarely barks or howls. She is fearful of being alone and needs a home where a human is around most of the time, ideally with another canine as well.
Ashia is a big-hearted girl and bonds quickly and deeply. She is part dog, part cuddle bunny and loves to stretch out and get neck scratches and belly rubs. She will be your shadow around the house and exude absolute bliss while curled up next to you. She has great manners overall but could benefit from some basic obedience training. She's great with other friendly dogs but might not be good with cats.
Ashia would do well in a home where she gets regular walks and lots of cuddle time - and where she will be treasured just as she will treasure you!
