This sweet, happy, well-mannered boy brings joy, love and devotion everywhere he goes. There's not a mean bone in Gumby's body, and he gets along great with other dogs at his foster home. Gumby loves people of all ages, is house broken, behaves well on a leash, and has shown no destructive tendencies. He is rarely vocal and has a soft yelp when he does speak out. A bit of a clown and a ham, Gumby has a moderate energy level. It's easy to get him to play, but he settles down promptly when playtime is over. He will follow whoever is at home from room to room, and he loves, loves, loves neck scratches and belly rubs. When he sprawls out on his back, it's like he has no bones - hence the name Gumby.

Gumby is recovering from surgery to a hind leg. He is in no pain and is getting regular walks to keep his leg muscles active. He is expected to make a full recovery with no mobility issues. He would do well in a home where he gets regular exercise and lots of cuddle time. He'd be fine in a home with or without other dogs and with or without kids.
