Simon is so eager for love! He always wants to be by his foster mom's side and will lie at her feet with his head or paw touching her so he knows he is there. He loves going on long walks and we think he would be a great running partner. Simon loves carrying his toys around the house and doesn't tear them apart. He is also a goofball and when his foster mom is brushing her teeth, he loves to jump up to look at himself in the mirror and drink from the faucet, but he listens when she tells him to stop.
Simon is still young and has lots of energy, so he needs plenty of exercises and training. Simon is eager to please, responds well to treats and affection as rewards, and learns quickly. He has already learned to sit and wait at crosswalks before crossing the street! He is house trained and does fine when his foster mom is at work - he curls up next to the door and waits for her to come home. Simon is very friendly with kids but would do best in a home without small children, at least until he has more training, due to his size and exuberance.
