Chai is a happy, friendly girl who seems to want to play with everyone, but in a sweet, easy going way. At adoption events she is quiet, patient, and polite, and because she doesn't make a fuss, she is often overlooked. This lovely girl so deserves a home where her playful personality will shine through and her endearing and expressive face will make her people melt and fall in love with her every day.
Chai is housetrained, will patiently stand still while you put her collar and leash on, walks nicely on a leash (though she pulls some when excited), knows some basic commands, and settles down nicely in the house. She is very smart and will learn new things quickly. She loves tummy rubs and she is a major fan of water. Whether in a pool, in a lake, or getting sprayed with a hose, she doesn't care as long as she's getting nice and wet.
Chai was in a home and was wonderful with the children (young tween and teen) and the parents loved her. Unfortunately she found the resident cat too exciting and the family very reluctantly, but understandably, had to give her up. At 3 years old, she is still a young dog but done with the puppy foolishness. Come meet this social beauty!
