Bo is an adorable low rider. He's not a small dog, but he is very compact for his size. Bo has been a perfect guest in his foster home - no accidents, nothing destroyed and has been fine in a crate. He bonds quickly with people and loves to cuddle and get belly rubs.

Bo's previous owner described Bo as friendly, smart, calm, quiet, playful, affectionate, and protective. He is good with children, but probably best in a home where the kids are a little older (5 or 6 and above, as he could unintentionally knock toddlers over). He is housetrained, crate-trained, quiet, doesn't chew, knows some basic commands, and loves to play with a ball.

For his first 4 years, Bo lived a charmed life. From the time he was a young puppy, he had a family with 3 children who loved him. The family taught him nice manners and treated him well. All that changed when his owner developed a serious health issue, could no longer care for Bo, and was forced to give him up. In the shelter, he watched every single car as it drove past, sure that his family would come back for him, but they couldn't.

All the upheaval is hard on him, and he yearns for a family to love and devote himself to. Could that be you?
