Shada is a friendly and affectionate girl who was a favorite of volunteers and staff at the shelter she was at before coming to HART. She is easy-going and would be happy to take a walk or lay down and take a nap near her people. She walks great on a leash, is very social with people, and greets other dogs in a friendly manner.
One volunteer said, "she demonstrated her knowledge of the 'sit' and 'down' commands for us and then just flopped down and stretched out, happy to just be with us and out of the loud kennel." Another said, "she's an awesome dog. She is treat motivatd (if they are the kind she likes) and enjoys being petted and spending time with people."
Shada and another dog were abandoned by their former owner and an acquaintance took them in for a couple of months but could not keep them any longer. She is reportedly house trained. When asked what her favorite game or toys were, the person who cared for her said "love." She just wants love and affection and will give you all of her love in return.
