Sunflower is a sweet, calm, quiet girl who came to HART from South Carolina, where she was found as a stray. She is shy at first with people she doesn't know, but once she trusts you, she will show you what a gentle love bug she is. Sunflower is part lab and all cuddle bunny. When she arrived at HART, it took her a full day to acclimate to her foster home and come out of her shell. Ever since, she follows humans from room to room and exudes bliss just being near her foster people. She can't get enough neck scratches and belly rubs.

Sunflower is house broken and crate trained. She knows few commands but has good manners and walks well on a leash, She really seems to want to please and would probably do exceptionally well in obedience classes. Sunflower has shown no destructive tendencies in her foster home. We can't tell you what her bark sounds like because we have yet to hear it. Her fur is velvety soft and she hardly sheds at all. She has shown no resource guarding and takes treats gently.

Sunflower is still relatively young and does have a playful side, but it never gets out of hand. She loves going on long walks and then curling up next to someone. She would love a home without too much commotion, where someone is around most of the time and where she'd get plenty of exercise and cuddle time - and where her boundless love and devotion will be treasured.
