Blanche is so sweet and calm! She is very easy-going and napping is her favorite activity! She isn't a big cuddler, but after waking up from a long nap, she loves to stretch out for a good belly rub and head scratch. She gives lots of kisses and loves to follow her foster mom around as her little shadow.

Blanches foster mom says, "Blanche thrives with a routine. Every morning, I wake up to her happy dance - toes tapping on the hard wood and tail wagging! We go for a walk and then she skips back towards the house because she knows she gets breakfast next! When dinner time hits, the happy dance begins again! Another activity she loves is watching humans cook their own dinner. She loves to smell and of course is happy for anything that hits the floor."

She is very gentle and her foster mom has never heard her bark. She is great on a leash and just takes a slower pace and likes to pause to check out people or other dogs as they pass by. Cars, bikes, and trucks don't bother her at all. There are two dogs next door that often bark at Blanche from behind the chain link fence, and she couldn't care less. She just ignores them and goes about her business.

Blanche is house trained and crate trained, though she doesn't need to be crated while home alone.

Blanche would be perfect for someone who is looking for a low maintenance companion. She is already comfortable with someone gone during the workday and just needs some TLC with slow walks around the neighborhood.
