Violet is a very sweet dog but is young and needs some work on manners of course. She is house trained and crate trained. She knows sit and is very food motivated which is good for teaching.

In her foster home with 3 other dogs, she is always looking for someone to play with her. She is fairly submissive with the other dogs. She'll try to get away with some things but takes correction from dogs and people easily.

Right now, Violet can be a bit mouthy when playing and doesn't know the difference between other dogs and small children so she needs a home with adults or older kids. She would benefit from another dog to play with or an active family to keep her busy.

Violet walks well on a transitional leash but does get excited over squirrels and sometimes other dogs. She doesn't understand why she can't play with them! Violet will be a great companion. She just needs to be told what is acceptable and learn to control herself and wait for attention sometimes. Normal puppy stuff!

We have not tested her with any cats yet although we did meet a feral cat on a walk. She was very interested but didn't lunge or act like she wanted to eat it. We suspect she would try to play with it though.
