Kellan is a very special dog who is blind. He was in a temporary foster home in South Carolina for a week before coming to HART, and this is what his foster wrote about him:
"Kellan is an incredible dog and has been an inseparable companion in these strange and trying times. His youthful spirit, undying curiosity, and endearing optimism in the face of life's obstacles are merely a few of the attributes that make him such an amazing dog.
Kellan is blind, but he does not let that slow him down a bit! He may (literally) run into a few more obstacles than most dogs, but he always gets right back up with a smile and carries on, chin held high. He has learned so much in the short time he has been here, and it's been incredible watching him progress."
Kellan loves to get belly rubs, play, and take naps on the couch. He is also house trained and crate trained. He takes treats gently.
