Mazie is an inquisitive, loving, snuggly, nosy little piglet girl full of snorts and snores. She has the biggest cutest freckled ears you ever did see! Mazie sadly did not get her Christmas wish this year of finding a home of her very own but we believe 2022 is finally going to be her year! Mazie was found as a stray down south and was brought to HART to be given a second chance at life.
Mazie is a good energy level she loves to play and explore and enjoys her occasional zoomies but also likes nap time. She gets along well with the dog in her foster home but would also do fine as an only dog. Mazie is deaf and time and time again she has been passed over. Mazie attends events and sees dog after dog get a home and waits patiently for her turn but waiting is hard when all you want is someone to love you!
Mazie needs someone that will always be on her team and set her up for success. What that looks like for Mazie is a proper introduction to new dogs and people with clear rules and boundaries in the home. She does make friends quickly. Older kids only in the home since she is deaf and can sometimes startle if sleeping. She loves her people is very smart has learned hand signals and is food motivated. She rides great in the car and is housebroken.
