Hello, my name is Sally! I have not had the best start to life but thankfully I was found by a kind lady who took me into safety. The nice doctor's told me that it looked like I had been pushed out of a car, but I don't really remember. I did have heartworm and lots of scabs but am now feeling much better.
I was fostered by a really nice family who helped me heal and taught me how to be a pet again. I do like to play with doggie friends and especially love fetch. My favorite person was the little human, she always gave me the best snuggles.
After I was all healed I made the journey up to Virginia to find my forever home. So far it's been great! I am learning all sorts of new things and making many new friends. I even have my very own bed in my room. My foster says it's a "crate" and that I'm really good in it so I am allowed nice beds.
I still don't like to share my food so I prefer to be fed away from the other dogs, but after not being fed for so long I feel like I still need to protect it. I'm really trying to be the best dog I can be and now that I am healthy I hope to find my forever home.
