Attention: The safety of our adopters and volunteers is our highest priority. HART has resumed adoption events at the Chantilly Petsmart. We ask that adopters that are not fully vaccinated wear a mask while outside and that all adopters, regardless of vaccination status, wear a mask while indoors.

Marschall came in with Lilly Girl from a hoarding situation. Lilly was adopted long ago and Marschall is still waiting for his family to find him. Despite having a rough start to life, Marschall is a happy go lucky guy who looves people and exploring new places.

Unfortunately living with 35+ dogs did not teach Marschall appropriate social skills with other dogs. He has learned to calmly coexist around other dogs and is currently working on appropriate play skills/greetings with other dogs, as he gets overly excited. When he is uncomfortable around a dog, he will calmly walk (or sometimes run) away. He should be adopted as the only dog as he's still working on his socal skills with other dogs.

Marschall is completely nonreactive inside, outside and on walks. He walks nicely with a head harness on, given guidance. Marschall is house trained, a polite houseguest and is perfect in his crate while his foster family is working from home or out for the day. This boy is a nice mix of loving to cuddle and wanting to play. It's nearly impossible not to fall in love with this goofy love bug!
