Clover - Adopted on 7/2/2020

Age:  About 4 years
Gender:  Female
Breed:  Pitbull Mix

Clover is a sweetheart! She is a little timid with new people until they talk to her and let her sniff. Then she'll be happy to get all the scratches and ear rubs she can get! She is affectionate and likes to follow her people around and occasionally give kisses.

Clover is super dog friendly and would love another playful dog to play with. She has good doggy manners and is submissive to the other dogs in her foster home. When they growl to say they don't want to play, she backs off immediately. She will try again later though. She is sure that she will win them over eventually!

She doesn't appear to have much training but comes when she is called and responds quickly to correction. We are working with her to sit calmly for a treat while her harness and leash are put on as she gets pretty excited to go for walks. She likes to sniff and check things out on walks. She usually doesn't pull but much but does occasionally when she gets excited.

Clover is house trained and sleeps all night on a dog bed in her foster parents' room. She can be a little mouthy when trying to get attention but responds well to quick correction. Like most dogs, she just needs to learn to wait calmly for things.
