Nala is a shy, gentle, loving girl who was surrendered by her owner to a shelter in South Carolina along with 5 other dogs, and we think she is the mom. They were not socialized and we think they lived outside. Nala is looking for a home with a secure fenced yard and another dog who is confident.
Nala is extremely shy with new people and takes a few days to feel comfortable in a new place, but once she feels safe, she bonds strongly and loves to cuddle and follow her person around. She also likes playing with toys and other dogs. She walks well on a leash and rarely barks. She is okay with kids, but would do best in a home without young kids because she is skittish.
Whoever adopts Nala will have a very loyal and dedicated companion.
